We host regular observing events throughout Carroll County, MD and the surrounding areas. We hope to provide members and the public with opportunities to observe and appreciate the night sky.

Monthly Members Meeting

Monthly members meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the second Wednesday of the month at the Bear Branch Nature Center and online via Zoom. Meetings feature a demo or class at 7:00 PM followed by a featured speaker. Meetings are open to the public and all are welcome to attend.

Over 40 Years of WASI

WASI was founded in 1984, and for over 40 years has been promoting a love of the night sky in Carroll County, MD.

Westminster Astronomical Society is a member of The Astronomical League.
