Supernova, Death from the Skies!
We will use the "I" word to travel to a distant star just before it's death. We
will warp the fabric of space and survive to tell about it. Find out your
connection to the elements and how our atmosphere protects us. Follow the sun
through its old age and make your own neutron star. Find out how with Skip Bird,
Observatory Director of the Westminster Astronomical Society. Learn fun and
unique ways to leave the planet, journey to the stars and still be back in time
for dinner. Time machines provided by the Westminster Astronomical Society.
Observing of the Sun before and after the program, will be weather dependent.
