Bear Branch Nature Center
Star Parites at the Nature Center are FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Telescopes and astronomers will be there to share the universe and their knowledge.
Directions:
The planetarium is located at the
Bear Branch Nature Center (BBNC). BBNC is situated approximately three
miles north of Westminster in Maryland's Carroll County (USA). From Westminster
take Md. 97 North. One mile later is a traffic light at Airport Drive;
continue heading north on Md. 97. One mile later is a traffic light at
Bachmans Valley Road; continue heading north on Md. 97. One mile later
is John Owings Road. Turn east (right) on John Owings road, and follow
the signs to the Hashawha Environmental Center/BBNC complex. BBNC is located
on the right side of the road.
